Business mogul and New Force presidential candidate Nana Kwame Bediako, popularly known as Cheddar, has launched a scathing critique against Ghana’s leadership, accusing them of failing to act in the best interests of the people.
Speaking in a recent public address, Cheddar contrasted Ghanaian leaders with their foreign counterparts, whom he described as “sensible” and dedicated to the welfare of their citizens.
Cheddar singled out leaders of highly developed nations, including the United States, the United Kingdom, China, and several European countries, commending them for policies that prioritize their citizens’ well-being and economic growth.
He argued that these leaders have fostered prosperity by making thoughtful decisions that drive development and improve lives.
In stark contrast, Cheddar accused Ghana’s leaders—citing former President John Dramani Mahama, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and current President Nana Akufo-Addo—of prioritizing personal interests over national progress.
“The only thing they’re concerned about is their own benefit,” he said, attributing Ghana’s stalled development to a lack of genuine commitment from its leaders.
The video of Cheddar’s remarks has since gone viral, igniting public debate on the effectiveness and accountability of Ghana’s political leadership as the country approaches its next election.
