Late on Saturday, a group of irate Occupy Julorbi House protesters targeted Ghanaian artist Sarkodie with their rage.
Sarkodie refused to participate in the three-day protests and demonstrate his support for the demonstrators.
He expressed his support through a number of tweets, but unlike other of his peers, including Stonebwoy, Efia Odo, and others, he kept away from the front lines.
Sarkodie’s absence was made worse by the perception that he is a fervent NPP supporter given that he frequently lambasted the NDC administration but never had the courage to do the same for the NPP.
He also collaborated with Kuami Eugene on the song “Happy Day” in which he rapped in support of the President’s candidature for reelection in 2020.
The protestors directed their ire towards the police on Saturday night, the final night of the demonstrations, after being given numerous chances to join the demonstration but failing to do so.
