Cecilia Dapaah, the former minister for sanitation and water resources, responded to reports last week about the sums of money the Special Prosecutor discovered in her bank accounts.
The former minister’s bank account had been suspended by the OSP at the moment JoyNews, a division of the Multimedia Group, stated that they had intercepted documents that disclosed the amount of money found there.
The figures being circulated, according to Madam Cecilia Dapaah, are merely fabrications, according to a statement issued by her attorneys.
In the application the sector filed at the High Court, according to the media outlet, the statement stated that the OSP never provided such information to the public.
If the media outlet doesn’t retract its publishing and apologize within three days, the lawyers vowed to sue the company.
