One the weekend, the Chief Executive confirmation election at Bekwai was full of chaos.
The election was held to vote on the MCE nominee as announced by the President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo.
However, some Assemblymen opposed the nominee Kwaku Kyei Baffour.
These men were apparently beaten during a heated misunderstanding following the rejection.
Viral video recorded during the voting sees some people exchanging blows with some bystanders asking: “Is that not Okatakyie being beaten?
Kingsley Opoku popularly known as Okatakyie is the Assemblymember of Dedease Electoral Area in the Bekwai Municipal Assembly.
