Denning Edem Hotor is known as a Ghanaian recording artist who doubles as an entertainer with the stage name Edem.
In 2015, the rapper was awarded Best International Act-Africa at the Black Canadian Awards in Canada.

However, Ayigbe Edem surprised his fans after announcing his Political ambition. Edem confused his fans after posting a flier of him in NDC colors and a few hours, he posted another one in NPP colors with the caption; “4 PM: I TAKE A STAND”
At 4 PM, Edem didn’t choose his stand as it was much anticipated, but educated Ghanaians on unity between these two parties and as he urged them to drive the same energy into the entertainment industry.

He wrote:
SOCIAL EXPERIMENT ‼️
1. Are Ghanaians tolerant of divergent views in Politics, and do media houses verify facts on information gotten before making it news?
2. Are people excited to see more young people take up Political Positions?
3. How do individuals of diff political parties react towards each other?
Do people’s views influence their attitudes, behaviors, & decision-making?
4. Does intolerance, bias, & prejudice affect individuals and their interactions with others who have different views?
FUN OPINION ‼️
Followers of both Parties should use the same energy to support creatives on social media and
Both Parties are invited to #Edemfest23
I need the same energy for my upcoming songs
