Emmanuel Frimpong, alias Bayie Bofour, found himself in legal trouble as the Kwadaso Circuit Court remanded him into police custody.

The self-proclaimed fetish priest faces allegations of spreading false information concerning VIP Jeoun Company Limited, a transport company.

Bayie Bofour purported that the company’s drivers were required to undergo a ritual involving being buried alive before operating the buses, sparking outrage and concern.

This sensational claim led to public scrutiny and legal action against him, highlighting the consequences of spreading misinformation.

Looking at the seriousness of the accusation, the court has decided to remand him to enable a thorough investigation.
