Ghanaian gospel musician, Joe Mettle, has asserted that the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-29) has spark sense into people to see the power of God and fear his existence.

Joe Mettle made the pronouncement speaking last Friday on Ayeeko Ayeeko on Accra 100.5FM.

Speaking on the impact of the pandemic on how human beings relate to God and how world leaders are now relying on God to see them through this era, the ‘Bo noo ni’ hitmaker told show host Nana Romeo that: “I think a caustic awakening.

A caustic revival, where lots of people, sometimes, lived their lives thinking that they had a job, they had money, and, so, they owned their lives, their lives were in their hands sort of, but now, even if you have money, the pandemic has caused fear and panic.

There’s a lockdown, so, whether or not you have money or you have things, you can’t use it for anything. You’re home until everything is lifted for you to now go back to normal life.

“It’s brought an awakening to people and made them realize that without God, the life we’re living, would be meaningless. All the things that we have, they are vanity, they help make our lives better but then they’re not supposed to be all that we live for”, he said.
