Afronita, the founder of Afro Star Kids Academy, and her talented dance protégé, Abigail Dromo, captivated audiences with their electrifying performance during the finals of Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
Their journey to the finals was marked by their captivating performance in the semifinals, which secured them a coveted spot in the grand finale. Donning vibrant African print attire, the duo took to the stage to impress both judges and spectators with their exceptional dance skills.
Dancing to popular tracks such as Fuse ODG’s “Antenna” and a medley of songs, Afronita and Abigail showcased their versatility and artistry. The crowd cheered them on enthusiastically, and all four judges were visibly impressed, sporting smiles throughout their performance.
Initially touted as favorites to win the competition, Afronita and Abigail had wowed audiences with their dazzling auditions, semifinal performance, and their impressive showing in the finals. However, despite their stellar performance, they ultimately secured third place in the competition.
Their journey on Britain’s Got Talent has not only showcased their immense talent but also served as a source of pride for Ghana and the African diaspora.
