A woman has reportedly ingested poison after she is said to have lost ¢500 loan she got from the bank to a thief in the Central Region of Ghana.
The woman, Gladys Techie, 35 years of age is said to have received the loan from a local Saving and Loans bank at Assin Dompem.
The loan was to help in growing her business.
Unfortunately, she lost the money to a thief. It was reportedly stolen from her room.
In a quest to find the thief, she is said to have roamed the entire town begging for the money to be returned.
With no help, she decided to ingest weedicide to end her own life.
Fortunately for her, a neighbor noticed her convulsion and called the ambulance for assistance.
