Former Blackstars captain Stephen Appiah lays to rest his mother this weekend, starting off the funeral ceremony today.
Some few months back, Tornado lost the mother. Madam Afua Aido, his late mother passed away after a short illness.
Madam Afua Aido was 76-years-old, a life well lived.
Her final funeral rites were held earlier today, Friday 15th March 2019 at the John Wesley Methodist Cathedral, Palladium Accra. A lot of public figures were present to sympathize with Stephen Appiah.
Some chief members of the Ghana national team were spotted. The current Ghana National Team coach, Kwesi Appiah was also seen.
John Paintsil, Arhinful, Salinko, Bismark the Joke, actor Prince David Osei, some TV personalities among other stars were spotted.
