However, Chairman Wontumi’s love for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) kept him going, and he continued to campaign tirelessly for Nana Addo. He shared this personal tragedy to demonstrate his unwavering commitment to the party.
This emotional revelation came while addressing allegations made by Rev. Owusu Bempah, who claimed the NPP was behind his arrest.
Chairman Wontumi’s response made it clear that not even the loss of his son could shake his resolve, and he remains unphased by Owusu Bempah’s prophecy that John Mahama will be the next president.
