In a bold revelation, Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar, the figurehead of the New Force Movement, has shed light on the ownership of prominent Ghanaian media outlets.
According to Bediako, GhanaWeb is owned by Robert Bellart, a resident of Germany, while Pulse Ghana is owned by Leonard Stiegler, a Swiss national living abroad, both of whom are allegedly not directly connected to Ghana.
Bediako’s disclosure has sparked questions about foreign influence in Ghana’s media landscape and its implications for the country’s political affairs.
With concerns raised over the potential manipulation of information by external interests, Bediako’s comments have prompted calls for greater scrutiny of media ownership and transparency in Ghana.
He further called for Ghanaian-owned media outlets to push the betterment of the country as a whole agenda and not allow foreign infiltrations.
