Chef Faila Receives Support from Brig. Gen. Matthew Kweku Essien in GWR Cooking Marathon

Brig. Gen. Matthew Kweku Essien, the General Officer Commanding, and his team have rallied behind Ghanaian Chef Faila Abdul Razak as she attempts to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon.

Present to offer support, Brig. Gen. Matthew Kweku Essien emphasized that Chef Faila has medical attention and security provided by the military during her ambitious five-day cook-a-thon challenge.

Currently, three days into the record-breaking attempt, Chef Faila remains resilient, showing no signs of exhaustion after more than 52 hours of continuous cooking.

The chef’s goal is to surpass Alan Fisher’s remarkable record of 119 hours and 57 minutes, setting a new benchmark in her culinary quest.
