Chef Faila, a Ghanaian chef who attempted the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon has sparked a stir online with a froggy breakfast she prepared.

Chef Faila cooked and served fried frogs to Dagbon Kingdom Chiefs to welcome them as custom demands.

According to what we’ve gathered, fried frogs are a delicacy of the Kumbungu people in the northern region of Ghana.

Therefore as custom demands, Chef Faila had to quickly prepare it for the chiefs to welcome them just as some traditions use colanut for this same purpose.

Fried frogs are however not part of the foods Chef Faila is cooking and presenting, this was just done for the Dagbon chiefs according to several details gathered.

Chef Faila ended her quest after she had cooked for over 9 days, totaling 227 hours of cooking marathon.
