A piece of unfortunate news reaching our news desk indicates that Ghana has recorded its first case of Ebola in the Northern Region of the country.
This is the first time Ghana has ever recorded a case of the deadly disease. In 2014, Ghana recorded zero cases of Ebola.

According to the details available to occupygh.com, the case was reported at the Tamale West Hospital and the patient has been isolated, receiving treatment.
This was made known by Fuseini Mahama, a Disease Control Officer.
