
<p class="has-drop-cap">China has reported no new <a href="https://occupygh.com/category/coronavirus">coronavirus</a> deaths for the first time since it started publishing death statistics in January.</p>



<p>Cases in mainland China have been dropping since March and are only dealing with imported cases that are nearly 1,000 in total.</p>



<p>Chinese health authorities reported 32 new cases nationwide, all of which were imported cases. The country has now recorded a total of 81,740 cases and 3,331 deaths. 77,167 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.</p>

<p>The lockdown on Wuhan, the epicenter of the outbreak, is expected to be lifted today. This is a significant milestone in its battle against the deadly virus.</p>



<p>People will be allowed to leave Wuhan and Hubei if they have a green QR code on their mobile phones, which the provincial government has distributed as an indicator of people’s health status.</p>
