Christian Atsu Twasam’s burial ceremony is today as he is being laid in state in front of the State House of Ghana in Accra.
As noted, Atsu was born in Ada Foah, Greater Accra Region.
Irrespectively of that, Atsu is from Dogobome in the Greater Accra, dominantly a place for the Ewe clan of Ghana and therefore his funeral without a display of the culture of his hometown will be invalid.
As many stormed the funeral grounds to pay their last respect to the Ghanaian international footballer, a display designed solely to bid Atsu farewell took place.
A clique of women and men clad in traditional attire, with pots of fire on their heads put on their best in art as they dance their way to bid Atsu farewell.
