NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has announced a groundbreaking plan to support churches in Ghana.
While on a campaign trail, Dr. Bawumia stated that instead of taxing churches, he would provide incentives to recognize their significant social contributions.
He emphasized that churches play a vital role in the community, operating schools, healthcare facilities, and other essential services.
Dr. Bawumia believes that incentivizing churches would enable them to expand their social work, benefiting more Ghanaians.
If elected, he promises to implement policies that support the growth and development of religious institutions.
