Coronavirus cases have jumped to 51 in South Africa as of this morning, The South African Government announced. According to the SA government the new cases were recorded in Gauteng, Western Cape, and KZN. The New cases include:
Gauteng: 7
- A 60-year-old male who had traveled to Iran.
- A 36-year-old male who had traveled to the UK.
- A 54-year-old male who had traveled to Switzerland.

- A 27-year-old male who had traveled to the UK.
- A 21-year-old female who had traveled to Germany.
- A 53-year-old female who had traveled to Germany.
- A 29-year-old male who had traveled to Switzerland.
Western Cape: 5
A 35-year-old female who had traveled to Germany.
A 42-year-old female who had traveled to Switzerland and the UK.
A 50-year-old male who had traveled to the Netherlands.
A 33-year-old male who had traveled to Switzerland.
A 35-year-old male who had traveled to Austria.
KwaZulu-Natal: 1
A 34-year-old male who had traveled to the UK.
The South African government is meeting to discuss a cabinet approach to the virus today. Meanwhile, the pandemic has claimed close to 6000 lives since its outbreak in December 2019..
