American pop icon Beyoncé has finally released her much awaited ‘Black Is King’ film.
The film according to Beyoncé was shot in America, United Kingdom, Kenya and Ghana.

The Director of Photography in the scene shot in Ghana is a certain David Boanuh ‘19 a student of Ashesi University, Ghana.

David has started getting plaudits on social media for his incredible output in the making of this ‘Black Is King’ movie which features Ghana’s very own Shatta Wale.

The University has eulogize the young Ghanaian for this remarkable feat in his young professional life via a Twitter post.

“For Beyonce’s new Disney+ film “Black is King”, Ashesi alum David Boanuh ’19 served as Director of Photography for scenes shot in Ghana, helping bring unique representations of Africa to the film described as a “a celebratory memoir for the world on the Black experience.
