Ghanaian gospel musician, Diana Asamoah, has sparked mixed reactions online with her new look.
The strong supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was seen appealing to her fans to vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections.
While some fans praised her enthusiasm and dedication to the NPP, others took a critical look at her peculiar appearance.
Diana Asamoah was seen wearing a white wig, white dress, and a pair of heels, which some social media users likened to a “slay queen” rather than a gospel musician. Her wig, in particular, drew mockery, with some comparing it to “fermented dough”
Despite the mixed reactions, Diana Asamoah remains committed to supporting the NPP. She recently dropped a campaign song for the party, which she clarified was initially crafted without naming any specific candidate.
The song was updated after Dr. Bawumia’s victory in the NPP primaries.
Diana Asamoah’s enthusiasm for the NPP is not new. In 2020, she released a campaign song for the party titled “Meba Dofo,” which was dedicated to then-President Nana Akuffo Addo and all NPP sympathizers.
As the elections approach, it remains to be seen how Diana Asamoah’s efforts will impact the outcome. One thing is certain, however: her dedication to the NPP is unwavering, and she will continue to use her platform to support the party.
