The Akabenezer team has taken drastic measures following the death of Bright Owusu, popularly known as C Confion, by sacking one of its members, Striker.
The news was made public by Gunshot, a key member of the team and a popular YouTuber.
In a video sighted online, Gunshot revealed that Striker’s misbehavior had become unbearable, leading to his dismissal from the team.
According to Gunshot, Striker’s actions had been a subject of concern for some time, with team members, including Dr. Likee and Guda, trying to intervene and correct his behavior.
Gunshot alleged that Striker had a history of stealing from him and other team members, and was also addicted to smoking weed.
Despite efforts to reform him, Striker’s behavior continued to deteriorate, leaving the team with no choice but to let him go.
“It’s only when the leg of a billy goat gets broken that it remembers the way to its owner’s house,” Gunshot said, using a local proverb to describe Striker’s behavior. “We’ve tried to slap sense into him several times, but it seems he’s not willing to change.”
As a result, the Akabenezer team has decided to send Striker back to his family in Accra, effectively ending his tenure with the group.
