Dumsor Is Gone For Good — Mahama Assures Ghanaians Of Stable Power Supply

President John Dramani Mahama has announced that his government has successfully averted the looming threat of power outages, commonly referred to as “dumsor.”

Speaking during the swearing-in ceremony for newly approved ministers, President Mahama emphasized that decisive action had been taken to stabilize the energy sector and ensure uninterrupted power supply.

According to President Mahama, the previous government’s neglect to arrange enough fuel to power the thermal plant had posed a significant challenge to the energy sector.

This was further complicated by the scheduled maintenance work on the West Africa Gas Pipeline (WAPCo), which supplies significant gas to the eastern enclave.
