A dramatic scene unfolded today at a polling station in the Ablekuma West Constituency, as voters vehemently rejected a pick-up truck carrying food packs.
The incident occurred amidst high tensions in the constituency, where elections are currently underway.
As the truck arrived at the polling station, voters became suspicious of the intentions behind the food packs.
They quickly hooted at the driver, forcing the vehicle off the premises. The angry crowd made it clear that they would not tolerate any form of alleged vote-buying.

According to eyewitnesses, chants of disapproval filled the air as residents refused to accept the food and drinks. The gesture, seen as an attempt to sway votes, was met with fierce resistance from the community.
As Ghana continues to vote in the December 7 elections, incidents like these serve as a reminder of the importance of transparency and fairness in the democratic process.
