The family of Ghanaian actress and socialite Moesha Boduong has vehemently denied claims by Prophet Percy Lartey that he miraculously healed Moesha after she was brought to his church paralyzed.
Moesha’s father has expressed outrage over the prophet’s public statements, threatening legal action for spreading falsehoods that have disgraced the family.
In a statement, Mr. Ahmedu Boduong, Moesha’s uncle, clarified that Moesha was indeed paralyzed but credited a traditional healer in Nima for her successful treatment and recovery.
“These false claims are misleading and an affront to our family,” Mr. Boduong stated, criticizing Prophet Lartey for using social media to promote the narrative, causing significant embarrassment.
The family is considering legal action to address the damage done by the prophet’s public statements.
Prophet Lartey’s initial post claimed Moesha was healed through his prayers, garnering attention and praise. However, the Boduong family’s statement contradicts this account.
The Boduong family demands Prophet Lartey retract his statements and apologize for the embarrassment caused.
