Popular Ghanaian rapper Medikal has disclosed that his ex-wife, Fella Makafui, experienced comas during body enhancement procedures in Nigeria and Turkey.
According to the award-winning artist, Fella decided to undergo surgery to maintain an hourglass figure after they welcomed their baby, Island. Her motivation was to promote her business.
Initially, Medikal opposed the idea, citing his general disapproval of plastic surgery, although he respects those who choose it. This disagreement caused tension between the couple for over three months. Eventually, Medikal relented and provided Fella with the funds for the procedure.
Fella traveled to Nigeria for the enhancement, but during the process, she fell into a coma. Medikal, sensing something was wrong, tried to reach her but received no response, unaware of her critical condition at the time.
In a separate incident, Fella also traveled to Turkey for another body enhancement and again fell into a coma. Medikal later learned that this was reported as part of the procedure’s complications.
