<p>A&#8217;missionary&#8217; named Lucas Richards reportedly got married in the United States and travelled to Liberia.</p>



<p>He made the choice to overindulge in some decadent chocolate while he was there and he also decided to date Jessica Lloyd, a Liberian resident.</p>



<p>They had some nice bedroom chemistry, as you would expect from a dating relationship, which led to the woman being pregnant.</p>



<p>Now that Richards was aware he was a missionary and a married man, he made the decision to solve his small issue.</p>



<p>He allegedly tried to slit Richards&#8217; throat, but not only that—he also purportedly gave her an injection to cause a miscarriage.</p>



<p>US missionary Lucas Richards has been detained for the attempted murder of his pregnant Liberian girlfriend, Jessica Lloyd, according to a tweet from the account Africa Stats Zone.</p>



<p>&#8220;He travelled for missionary work and had her pregnant. In the USA, he has a wife. He made an effort to cut her throat. He also gave her an injection to end her pregnancy.</p>



<p>One internet user responded to the scandalous situation by writing: &#8220;Let him enjoy how nice African prisons are…&#8221;Consider someone doing this on a religious mission,&#8221;</p>
