General Daoud Yaya Brahim, Chad’s minister of defence, and Haliki Choua Mahamat, the general secretary of the government, both resigned after two different sex tapes that appeared to show the men went viral on social media.
On Wednesday, October 18, 2023, an administration spokeswoman announced the development in a statement.
According to a statement from Kebzabo’s spokesperson, Prime Minister Saleh Kebzabo accepted the resignations of the two men without providing any other information.
The tapes, which went viral on Sunday and Monday, allegedly showed the guys having sexual relations with other persons, according to Reuters.
The article stated, “Reuters was not immediately able to reach either man for comment and could not independently verify the material.”
