
<p>The former First Lady of Ghana passed away yesterday, October 2, 2023, shocking Ghana. Even though she passed away over the weekend, the news was widely reported yesterday.</p>



<p>They first met at a Republic Day Anniversary Dance in London in 1961, and Kufuor married Theresa Kufuor in 1962 when he was 23 years old, just a year before she passed away.</p>



<p>The adorable pair is the mother of five kids. Kufuor is a member of the Roman Catholic Church, as is his family.</p>



<p>He has freely acknowledged being a Freemason since he was a young lawyer and currently serves as Senior Grand Warden of the United Grand Lodge of England Freemasons.</p>



<p>Kufuor is an Asante who is a fluent Twi speaker. Theresa Kufuor, his late wife, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, following a brief illness. The specifics of her funeral have not yet been disclosed.</p>



<p>Meanwhile, the entire nation of Ghana laments the death of the former president&#8217;s 61-year partner.</p>
