The former First Lady of Ghana passed away yesterday, October 2, 2023, shocking Ghana. Even though she passed away over the weekend, the news was widely reported yesterday.
They first met at a Republic Day Anniversary Dance in London in 1961, and Kufuor married Theresa Kufuor in 1962 when he was 23 years old, just a year before she passed away.
The adorable pair is the mother of five kids. Kufuor is a member of the Roman Catholic Church, as is his family.
He has freely acknowledged being a Freemason since he was a young lawyer and currently serves as Senior Grand Warden of the United Grand Lodge of England Freemasons.
Kufuor is an Asante who is a fluent Twi speaker. Theresa Kufuor, his late wife, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, following a brief illness. The specifics of her funeral have not yet been disclosed.
