Getting Married To Only One Person Is Not Normal- Wanlov Alleges (See His Reasons)

Ghanaian musician, Wanlov the Kubolor, has stirred controversy by stating that getting married to only one person is not normal.

The eccentric musician, who has fathered ten children with multiple women, made the statement in a recent interview with Doreen Abanema Abayaa of Ghanaweb.

Wanlov expressed his lack of understanding of the concept of marriage, especially as supported by religion.

He claimed that being permanently bound to one person is abnormal and absurd, and he will never subscribe to such an idea.

The musician also revealed that he got married to an American lady 17 years ago solely for the purpose of legalizing his stay in the country.

He admitted that the marriage was just about papers, and he never applied for a Green Card.

“I am actually already married. I got married for Green Card in America in 2006 but I never applied.

I just left America and came and so I am still illegally married in America. It was just about papers. I don’t think I will dedicate my life to one person and be like in a marriage. I can’t, it doesn’t feel normal to me,” Wanlov said.

He argued that having kids is a bigger responsibility than marriage and, therefore, he dedicates his time to the former.

He believes that having a child is a responsibility between two people that must be upheld, which is superior to him than a wedding.

The statement by Wanlov has generated mixed reactions from Ghanaians, with some supporting his views while others disagree with him. Some critics have accused him of promoting immorality and disrespect for cultural values.

Wanlov is known for his eccentric lifestyle and unconventional views on various issues.

He is a member of the FOKN Bois, a musical group that has gained popularity for its controversial and socially conscious songs.
