
<p class="has-drop-cap">Ghana has just confirmed 1,671 cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) as of 29 April 2020.</p>



<p>The Ghana Health Service reports:</p>



<p>A total of 1,671 cases of COVID-19 with 16 (sixteen) deaths have been recorded.</p>



<p>Regional Breakdown:</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Greater Accra Region &#8211; 1,433</li><li>Ashanti Region &#8211; 84</li><li>Eastern Region &#8211; 57</li><li>Upper East Region &#8211; 18</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Central Region &#8211; 18</li><li>Oti Region &#8211; 17</li><li>Northern Region &#8211; 13</li></ul>



<ul class="wp-block-list"><li>Volta Region &#8211; 11</li><li>Western Region &#8211; 9</li><li>Upper West Region &#8211; 8</li></ul>



<p>Nevertheless, it is important to note that a total number of 188 people have recovered according to the Ghana Health Service.</p>
