Ghana has just confirmed 1,671 cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) as of 29 April 2020.
The Ghana Health Service reports:
A total of 1,671 cases of COVID-19 with 16 (sixteen) deaths have been recorded.
Regional Breakdown:
- Greater Accra Region – 1,433
- Ashanti Region – 84
- Eastern Region – 57
- Upper East Region – 18
- Central Region – 18
- Oti Region – 17
- Northern Region – 13
- Volta Region – 11
- Western Region – 9
- Upper West Region – 8
Nevertheless, it is important to note that a total number of 188 people have recovered according to the Ghana Health Service.
