Winner of Young Filmmakers awards 2020, Nii Awuley Lartey has revealed that the Ghana movie industry is full of fake people.

According to the young entrepreneur who doubles as the CEO of Eyeforce Multimedia, the movie industry is full of hypocritical leaders as well.

“They have no plans for making the movie industry to wake up again in Ghana.”, Nii revealed in a conversation with OccupyGh.com.

“All the movie producers are suffering, 99% of movie producers are poor in Ghana.

Evil and bad plans are what each and everyone is having for one another in the movie industry.

The industry is dead.

The Government should make the industry like government work and pay the actors and actresses each month for the work. The movie industry should employ people who are willing to become actors and actresses in the profession.

This can make the industry become like Hollywood, etc.”, Nii lambasted in her conversation with us.

He further noted that some producers in the industry are suffering, yet they are quiet.

“Sometimes I just seat and watch how producers and characters suffer in the movie industry.

If the Ghana movie industry leaders don’t start planning something good for the industry and the government also doesn’t make any plans for the industry we will force them.

Because the entertainment industry creative arts all contribute to the economy of the country.”

The winner of Young Filmmakers Awards 2020 finally noted that he is ready to make a change in the industry.

“They should watch me out as I have come into the industry.”, he finally said.
