Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL) has scheduled a crucial maintenance period, necessitating the temporary shutdown of the Kpong Treatment Plant.
Starting on Sunday, September 24th, and lasting until Thursday, September 28th, the treatment plant will be inactive.
The Kpong Treatment Plant plays a vital role in providing clean and potable water to a significant portion of the population, making maintenance efforts crucial to avoid any service disruptions.
While the shutdown may inconvenience some consumers, GWCL aims to complete the necessary maintenance swiftly and efficiently, minimizing any inconvenience.
Residents and businesses in affected areas are encouraged to make necessary arrangements for alternative water sources or storage during this temporary disruption.
Once the maintenance is successfully concluded, the Kpong Treatment Plant will HOPEFULLY resume normal operations.
