<p><strong>The founder of now-defunct UT Bank <a href="https://occupygh.com/video-of-former-ut-boss-kofi-amoabeng-being-seen-inebriated-and-unattended-sparks-controversy/amp">Prince Kofi Amoabeng</a> has finally opened up about how his bank was closed down by the current sitting government.</strong></p>



<p>In a <a href="https://occupygh.com/fans-react-when-abena-korkor-goes-n3kd-video/amp">new trending viral video</a>, an excerpt from a conversation he had on a recent podcast, Prince Kofi Amoabeng noted that the current government of Ghana used over ¢2 billion to close his bank when the bank was owing barely ¢800 million.</p>



<p>He also revealed that at that point his bank was employing over 2500 people.</p>

<p>According to Kofi Amoabeng, the government decided to close the brand although it recruited that much people.</p>



<p>“In any civilized institution, you don’t close brands that people have accepted, you bail them out.”</p>
