The artist, known for his hit songs, took to social media to welcome students back to campus and announced his candidacy for the prestigious position.

With a rallying cry of “Building the SRC with Everyone for everyone,” Guru aims to inspire students to get involved and work together for a better university experience.

His campaign slogan, #WEGODOAM, has already started gaining traction online.

As a popular figure in Ghanaian entertainment, Guru’s entry into student politics has generated significant buzz and excitement among students.

If elected, he promises to bring a fresh perspective and leadership style to the SRC presidency.
