Bello Zubairu, a young Nigerian, has been apprehended for allegedly murdering his close friend, Bello Bukar Adam.
Reports indicate that Zubairu borrowed 3 million naira from Adam, and failing to repay the debt, he purportedly hired two assailants to assist in the killing.
Zubairu lured Adam to his residence under false pretenses, whereupon Adam unknowingly walked into the trap.
Upon Adam’s arrival, Zubairu attacked him with a pestle, fatally injuring him.
Upon his arrest, Zubairu was found in possession of Adam’s vehicle, which he had used to dispose of the body along the Kano-Zaria road.
