A man involved in the tragic lynching of upcoming musician Nana Yaw, known by his stage name Wyllbee, has sought spiritual protection from Prophet Paul Kusi Appiah.
The man claims to be haunted by Wyllbee’s ghost, despite his insistence that he only touched the victim with his leg and was not directly involved in the beatings.
Wyllbee, a Sowutuom-based musician, was brutally attacked and killed while staying overnight at his girlfriend’s residence in Abuakwa-Tanoso, Ashanti Region. The occupants of the compound house, suspecting him to be a thief, confronted Wyllbee in the early hours of the morning on July 5th, 2024.
Despite the musician’s attempts to explain that he was there to visit his girlfriend, the situation escalated, and he was beaten mercilessly by the neighbors.
Wyllbee was rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to his injuries at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
The man now seeking spiritual protection claims to be haunted by Wyllbee’s ghost, suggesting a deep sense of guilt and unease over his involvement in the tragic incident.
