Giants of Ghana premier league, Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko have paid tribute to Junior Agogo who passed in London on Thursday morning, 22nd August, 2019.

Junior Manuel Agogo had battled stroke for a while, going through a recovery stage these few months.

Ago-Goal as the soccer star was notoriously famed during the 2008 African Cup of Nation which was hosted in Ghana was a household name back then.

He scored three goals in the 2008 AFCON for the Ghana Black Stars.

Agogo played for the national team between 2006 and 2009.

Agogo had stints with Shieffield Wednesday, Chicago Fire, Queens Park Rangers, Bristol Rovers, Nottingham Forest, Zamalek, Apollon Limassol, and Hibernian

Asante Kotoko shared on their official gram;

“We are saddened to learn of the death of former Black Stars striker, Junior Agogo. We extend our condolences to his family at this extremely difficult time.

While Hearts follow suit with;

“@HeartsOfOakGH is disheartened to learn about the passing of former Ghana striker Junior Agogo.
