As Ghana prepares for its presidential elections on December 7, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is optimistic about breaking the usual 8-year term of office and securing a third term.

Despite mixed reactions to the party’s performance over the past eight years, the NPP is chanting ‘It Is Possible’ as they campaign for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to take over from President Akufo-Addo.

One of the major reasons cited by supporters for the NPP’s re-election bid is the successful implementation of the free SHS system.

Additionally, President Akufo-Addo has recently commissioned several projects completed under his reign, including the Suame Hospital, 320 Housing Units for Ghana Police, Flower Pot Interchange, and Tema Motorway Interchange.

Several celebrities have publicly declared their support for Dr. Bawumia, including Nana Aba Anamoah, Afia Schwarzenegger, Diana Asamoah, Prince David Osei, and Agya Koo.

Their endorsements are expected to boost the NPP’s campaign efforts and appeal to a wider audience.

However, not everyone is pleased with the NPP’s performance, and some have expressed dissatisfaction with the party’s handling of the economy and other critical issues.

Despite these concerns, the NPP remains confident that they can secure a third term and continue to implement their policies and programs .
