This could go down in history as the biggest deception of 2019 as new details trooping in asserts that Hon. Aponkye lost the assembly membership in Adukrom Nima Electoral Area.
Hon. Aponkye, real name Nana Adabor Ibrahim Isaiah Ampim, who stood to be elected as Assembly Member for Adukrom Nima Electoral Area is said to have lost the election but was quick enough to stage a deception by calling Nana Aba Anamoah and also sharing a video jubilating.
Sources close to the Adukrom Nima Electoral Area has told us that Hon. Aponkye started jubilating after winning in one of his strongholds. He jumped on the streets and started jubilating that he has won.
“As at the time of writing this article, the EC has not officially declared the winner for Adukrom Nima Electoral Area,” the source said.
“Honourable Aponkye lost the election but he is telling everyon that he won,” the source added.
