During the Eid-Mu-Barak celebration which was on the 20th of July, 2021, some anonymous assailant tried to kill the interim Mali President, Assimi Goita at Bamako.
In the said video, the assailant harshly rushed on President Assimi while trying to stab his neck from the back.
Fortunately, men around acted and resisted his action quickly as he tried to get rid of the President.
The President escaped the attack sound and safe but it was reported that someone else got injured while trying to save him.
