Ghanaian lawyers and politician Sarah Adwoa Safo has shared a new photo on her official Instagram page, announcing that she will begin her new term as MP in a few minutes.
In a lengthy post shared, Adwoa Safo noted that she is in the chambers of parliament awaiting a dissolution.
Her full post read:
“In the Chamber awaiting the dissolution of the 7th Parliament of the 4th Republic and the start of the 8th Parliament.
Sincere gratitude to the good People of the Dome-Kwabenya for their unalloyed and unflinching support. I have had the rare honor to serve as their MP for the last 8 years.
A few minutes from now, I begin a new term as MP.
With their help and the help of God, I will be the Leader we all can and will be proud of.”
