Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wugon, Lydia Alhassan, has expressed her optimism about the New Patriotic Party (NPP) winning massively on election day.
According to her, the governing party has done a lot of work, and the people of Ghana will reward them with a victory.
“I expect nothing but a massive win for the NPP, a massive win for Lydia Seyram Alhassan,” she said, adding that “I’ve engaged the community, and I’ve worked hard.”
Lydia Alhassan, who has been the MP for Ayawaso West Wugon since 2021, is confident that her party’s efforts will pay off. She has been a strong advocate for her constituents and has worked tirelessly to address their concerns.
As the country prepares for the December 7 elections, special voting has commenced across 14 regions.
The Eastern and Western Regions will vote on December 5, 2024. Lydia Alhassan’s prediction of a massive win for the NPP has added to the excitement and anticipation surrounding the elections.
It is worth noting that Lydia Alhassan has a strong track record in politics. She won the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election in 2019 with 68.80% of the valid votes cast.
She also successfully contested in the 2020 Ghanaian general election, defeating John Dumelo, the NDC candidate.
