Renowned Ghanaian prophet, Salifu Amoako, has publicly addressed the fatal accident involving his son, which claimed the lives of two young girls in East Legon.
In a heartfelt video, Prophet Amoako expressed shock and devastation upon learning of the tragic incident. “I have been crying since the accident,” he said.
The man of God offered an unqualified apology to the bereaved families and Ghanaians, acknowledging the pain and sorrow caused. He knelt down to render his apology, demonstrating remorse.
Prophet Amoako also called on fellow men and women of God to join him in apologizing to the affected families and the nation.
Meanwhile, the families of the deceased are planning a candlelight vigil, scheduled for Friday, October 18, 2024, to honor the memories of the two victims.
In a related development, Prophet Amoako and his wife, Mouha Amoako, were granted a GH¢50,000 bail after their arrest on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. They appeared in court on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
The prophet’s apology comes amidst ongoing discussions and reactions to the tragic incident, with many Ghanaians expressing condolences to the affected families.
