
<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Okatakyie Afrifa Kofi, a well-known media figure and dedicated supporter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), recently made some bold statements during a live radio broadcast.</strong></p>



<p> He expressed deep dissatisfaction with the current state of the NPP, lamenting that it has lost its former appeal and now feels like just another ordinary party.</p>



<p> Reflecting on the past, he highlighted the party’s vibrant appeal during ex-President Kufuor&#8217;s administration, drawing a stark contrast to the present situation, where Gabby Otchere-Darko appears to wield significant influence over the party&#8217;s affairs.</p>

<p>Okatakyie specifically criticized the role of Gabby Otchere-Darko, pointing out his influence in grooming individuals at the Danquah Institute and positioning them in key roles within the party. </p>



<p>He questioned the appointment of Ernest Owusu Bempah as the Deputy Communications Director, expressing disbelief over his selection for the role.</p>



<p>In a particularly controversial moment, Okatakyie threatened to gather a group of young men to physically confront and attack NPP executives if the current leadership leads the party to defeat in the upcoming elections. This fiery statement has likely stirred up tensions within the party.</p>
