George Akuffo Dampare, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) of Ghana has formally requested a public hearing, and his plea has been approved by the committee overseeing the matter.
In response, he, along with the high-ranking officials of the Ghana Police Service, has made their way to Parliament House for the anticipated proceedings.
During this hearing, the IGP will engage with a special committee that will address the schemes captured on tape, which ostensibly aimed at his removal from office.
As gathered, the allegations raised will be thoroughly examined.
