Prophet Nigel Gaisie, leader of the Prophetic Hill Church, has publicly declared his spiritual opposition to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) remaining in power after the December 7 elections.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Nigel Gaisie expressed deep dissatisfaction with the NPP’s governance, stating, “I’m praying against the NPP government to lose… They have hurt the church, they have hurt the nation, and they have to go.”
Nigel Gaisie also endorsed National Democratic Congress (NDC) Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama, hoping to see him emerge victorious.

Reflecting on his personal journey, Gaisie attributed some of his early mistakes to inexperience and underscored the importance of spiritual focus. “As a prophet, we don’t like disturbances… My emotions are crucial, and I must stay spiritually sharp,” he emphasized.
This isn’t Nigel Gaisie’s first prophecy regarding the 2024 elections. Earlier, he predicted a stunning defeat for the NPP, citing a vision of ants eating away at the party’s flag. He also warned of potential election rigging and urged the NDC to remain vigilant.
Nigel Gaisie’s prophecies have garnered significant attention, with a reported 90% accuracy rate in 2023 ². His recent statements have sparked lively debate, with some supporting his views and others questioning the role of spirituality in politics.
