
<p class="has-medium-font-size">A Nigerian man with a Ghanaian name living in Akwa Ibom has shared how he met his American wife with just a simple &#8216;Hi&#8217; on Facebook.</p>



<p>The man, identified as Bright Cletus Essien from Akwa Ibom State, tied the knot with his woman, Jacklynn Anne Hunt from Michigan, United States of America, over the weekend.</p>

<p>The interracial couple were joined together in holy matrimony at Divine Dominion Covenant Church of God, Obio Ibiono in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom on Sunday, April 17.</p>



<p>According to friends of the groom who took to Facebook to congratulate the couple on their marriage, the relationship started from a simple “hi” on Facebook and blossomed into what it is today.</p>



<p>One Alban Ekandem said he initially thought the relationship was a scam but the groom assured him that they genuinely love each other.</p>



<p>He added that the bride willingly agreed to marry him and came all the way from the US for the wedding.</p>
