
<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>President <a href="https://occupygh.com/nana-akufo-addo-hints-renaming-university-of-ghana-legon-j-b-danquah">Nana Akufo-Addo</a> officially inaugurated the second phase of the Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange in Accra on November 29, 2024.</strong></p>



<p>This project, a continuation of Phase I completed in November 2020, addresses persistent traffic congestion in one of the city’s busiest areas<a href="https://occupygh.com/nana-akufo-addo-miami-house-surfaces-online-video">.</a> The newly completed interchange enhances connections between the Central Business District and Accra&#8217;s western corridor, making commuting more efficient.</p>



<p>The President hailed the project as a significant milestone in his government’s efforts to modernize Ghana’s infrastructure, citing its potential to boost economic growth by improving urban mobility.</p>

<p>The second phase added essential ramps, expanded roadways, and pedestrian-friendly features. Citizens have expressed mixed reactions, with many lauding the government’s commitment to infrastructure, while some raised concerns about maintenance and urban planning.</p>



<p>The project represents a broader vision of infrastructure-led development, positioning Accra as a more accessible and functional metropolis.</p>



<p>As traffic flow improves, businesses and residents in the area anticipate significant time and cost savings.</p>
